My Story

My journey into the wilderness and passion for community building began in my teens, where I embarked on transformative adventures from multi-day mountain treks to ocean canoeing along the West Coast of British Columbia at the age of 17. These experiences not only honed my leadership skills but also deepened my self-awareness and appreciation for the natural world.

As an outdoorswoman and empath, I yearned for more meaningful connections. It was during this time that I returned to outdoor education, and fell into nature connection mentoring. These passions, combined with my love for yoga, meditation, and travel, opened up a whole new world of possibilities.

Woman connecting with nature

As a young adult, I realized  that my unique playfulness  seemed to draw people of all ages together. This innate ability to connect with others, coupled with my love for mentorship and supporting individuals on their journeys, led me to pursue a career in teaching. However, despite my dedication to mentorship, I found myself feeling constrained by the structure of the public school system.

As I navigate the changes and transitions of midlife, I've found a deeper calling to support and empower women on similar journeys. Embracing this chapter of life isn't just about letting go; it's also an opportunity for growth, empowerment, and redefining aging in a positive light.

Today, I am committed to creating authentic connections and safe spaces for reflection, where individuals can explore their curiosities and build deeper connections with the natural world and themselves. Through hands-on skills training,  wilderness adventuring,  and intentional programming, I strive to meet diverse learning needs and empower others to embrace their authenticityBy creating an environment of belonging where vulnerabilities are lovingly welcomed, I am dedicated to facilitating meaningful experiences where individuals can truly feel seen, heard, and valued.
